If I could put 0 stars I would. The triage nurse was SO rude and disrespectful. There’s only 1 person in the lobby when I get there. I get brought to the back to the triage room and I sit down there’s 4 people back there in a small room. She then asks me what was going on, and I start with “back in 2019” because that’s when my illness/condition started, and I couldn’t even get the full sentence out before she bluntly interrupted and said “I didn’t ask what happened in 2019 I asked what was going on right now today”. Every time I’ve came to this place, has been an AWEFUL experience.

I do want to add that the doctor/nurse practitioner that seen me afterwards was phenomenal and very patient! She helped me and made me feel heard, and was very sweet.

0 stars. I wasn’t going to say anything and keep my mouth shut, but this place needs to be shut down. They don’t know what they’re doing. I went as an emergency; there were 4 people before me. I got there at 7pm and left at 6am. They did a CAT scan of my brain and told my mom I was healthy and said nothing was wrong with me, even though I couldn’t see at all. They said they were also going to do studies for my eyes, but they never did. I kept asking questions, and the doctors would answer with "I don’t know," like, ?!! The next day, I came as an emergency to Galveston because I knew something was wrong with me. Within the first 30 minutes here, they did a brain CAT scan and told me I had something in my brain. They also answered all my questions on the spot. Nothing compared to this hospital. I’m not doing this to be mean; I just want to spread awareness. Please don’t waste your time here and go to Galveston!

I suffered a severe concussion and was treated in the ER. All nurses, doctors and staff were so kind and professional. I was treated like royalty. I was immediately given a CT scan, X-ray and pain meds through my IV. I've never been in the ER there before but I had a spectacular experience and would highly recommend The Medical Center to everyone!

My stitches were put in the cold hallway. I was in that hallway for 7+ hrs. In the direction of the double doors. Earlier it was the Security guard who thought of giving me a heated blanket-not nurse or assistant. No i will not be back.EVER. The curtain was half torn down in the room i was put!in finally. I didnt have water for most of the time i was in the ER. Brad lectured me EVERY time he came in. In a very smart condesending manner. One lady did hold my hand as i was being stitched up- in the cold drafty hallway. I never found out from the doctor the results of the exray.

Worst experience of my life!! I will never recommend!! I checked in, the triage nurse is downright nasty, and should NOT be working in a hospitall. I went in with chest pains that wrapped around my back, my arm was tingling and I felt like blood was rushing to my head. Her and another nurse came up and pushed down hard enough on my shoulder that it brought tears to my eyes. She assumed that I hurt my shoulder, no vitals were taken. Sent back to lobby, a young lady came and gave me a shot of toradol and a muscle relaxer, and sent me back to the lobby. BTW, those two mediations did NOT do anything. Had X-rays, sent back to the lobby. About an hour later the young lady came to give me my discharge papers and prescriptions. I never once saw a doctor, never got an ekg for my chest pains, NOTHING. I went to an emergency hospital, my blood pressure was so high that I was admitted, and I also had flu type B, that was close to turning into pneumonia. If your ER department would actually do their job, I probably wouldn’t be leaving this nasty review. Do better, and please don’t leave sick people in the lobby, train your staff to do their jobs, and not jump to conclusions, because I could’ve stoked out. You can pretty much guarantee that I will not be paying, and I will be contacting my insurance

Hardly anyone was in there when we went and it took forever to be seen. Staff was rude. I did an xray on my foot and didn't even talk to a dr about the results...talked to a very young girl who didn't even seem sure of what she was saying. She said the dr said there wasn't a brake

Went to the center of orthopedic....there's 2 brakes in my foot.....

Never again will go there

Ive never been to an emergency room where when you get seen you stay in the waiting area if you have to get and Iv or something they send you back with the needle in your arm. You don't have no private room or anything they call you to this room ask you your weight and height and check your blood pressure it's three people in the room the one that ask the questiond the take you vital and the Dr at the same time and send you back to the waiting room call you back to that room and give you your discharge paper it was just weird and I would recommend any to go there
