I took my daughter to the er at 3pm. There were no beds available and we were waiting in the secondary waiting area in the back for 2 hours before we were even talked to. We got tests done and were told we would not have a bed our whole visit, to which we left and waited for a phone call result. Which they told me they could do. So at 10pm I called the hospital back trying to get results and was so disrespected by the transferring operator. Both Sherri & Sarah both were so rude to me & hung up on me mid sentence! I have both recordings of two separate phone calls. RIDICULOUS. We need better people in charge of our patients, hospitals, records, loved ones, etc. Find people who actually like their job. DO BETTER UC HEALTH

Had a great experience at the ER after having a bad fall. Good treatment and the staff from doctor, nurses and everyone else. Didn’t have to wait long. Would definitely recommend if you need them.

I came in to the ER, a few months back in June 2024. Had a CT scan. Found a cancerous tumor and a mass in my bladder. The very next day, urologist Dr. Fisher took me in for surgery and removed both the tumor and the mass.
Most people I know have had to wait months for the surgery. I haven't the words to express what an amazing, caring and kind man/doctor he is. I've never experienced such a caring and kind hearted Doctor.
I have great appreciation for him. I pray for his health and happiness. He works non-stop, because he cares for his patients.
He should take a relaxing vacation.
Thank you for everything

Veronica

I have been going here for the last two years with no issues. After this incident, never again...
Nov 13 I went to the er in immense pain in my abdomen and back. Blood pressure through the ROOF! Of course they got me in quick and pain under control quick. Doctor had mentioned getting imaging and a culture done, unfortunately after I was admitted, the er got jam packed real quick and they decided to skip these steps because a regular uti is the cause....and they were just too busy. So here's some meds and be on your way. Mind you even on medications they gave, nothing got better.
Before they had a chance to even tell me the results, technically, the nurse went into another area BEFORE even asking said person was me or not read off my test results and what the plan was. I heard...."I'm not Elizabeth Sutton...." and then the nurse freaked out for a second and then found where I was and completely laughed it off. Kind of embarrassing if you ask me and a HIPPA violation. After I was given my results I was rushed out because they were just happy with a u/a and felt that was enough. I didn't feel satisfied that just a uti was the root cause of labor like pains.

A month later I'm in the hospital (diff one) same symptoms, again with a 7mm kidney stone BLOCKING my bladder. Which in turn also created sepsis because it sat so long.
I wasn't on bored with skipping the initial tests and imaging and this could've saved me time, and most likely being hospitalized again for worse. Definitely not a happy camper with how I was rushed out because they were busy. I understand things happen sometimes but that was uncalled for not feeling heard and wound up sicker. Really not okay with how this went down.

Awful experience - went in with searing agony in my left side to the point I was ready to vomit and pass out. They just sat me in a backend waiting room surrounded by other people while I am crying and screaming in pain. They finally got annoyed enough with me to put me in a closed room with a snide comment about how I was bothering other people - sorry I'm passing a KIDNEY STONE and came here for PAIN MANAGEMENT. If I could have handled the pain I'd have happily stayed home screaming in pain....

They treated me like a drug seeking junky. Not a human in agony. And they wonder why everyone hates American healthcare....

I felt like the Dr blew me off, I was having issues breathing, he made me feel like I was not really important enough to listen to, I told the Dr that I was having issues breathing while walking, my sats were 83-85 while walking and I kept getting dizzy and almost fell a couple of times, he told me that that was good enough and basically to just deal with it, then I looked at the ER notes, he out and out lied and said I told him my oxygen level was at 88 at home and I told him I didn't want to be admitted, admitting me was never even discussed, I never even said 88 at all, I said my oxygen sats were 83 maybe up to 85, he just basically told me to go home and deal with it, as an after thought as he was leaving he said I should try to use a little oxygen while walking if I needed it, and left. I was quickly given paperwork and basically told to get out. I then walked, desperately trying to catch my breath, feeling dizzy, out to my car and left.

They seem to have zero regard to actually hearing my wife's issues. this is the third time we've been here only to get patronised by staff and sent home with minimal treatment.

The Nurse practitioner that took care of me was very short and clearly did not care about me or my well being. I was not treated as a sick patient but as a number, a burden of the staffs time. Imagine department was very courteous and caring, some nursing staff was kind and compassionate while some could CARE less. Overall, DO NOT recommend this facility for CARE.
