*BEWARE* Only go here if you are in dire straights. This is the nightmare medical situation we all fear. Take the time to go somewhere better if you can. Worst ER I have been in. 3 hours in what feels like a basement with at least 7 other sick people crammed in. Like wartime medical here. Could hear EVERYTHING going on with every other patients. One girl asked for them to keep it private. They seemed to talk louder. Looking into this as a HIPPA violation. DR came back and asked if I was feeling better after fluids… no one came with anything. When I told him he ran very quickly but still no one. Had to ask again. They came with pills but no fluids. There was an elderly woman next to me screaming for help. I went out to find someone. The nurse literally laughed when I told her someone was shouting for help. Meanwhile it was like spring break out there. Medical staff dancing and joking with each other. One shouted down the hall about her trip to Vegas getting “some”. Shockingly unprofessional. Personally still in agony with no relief and they are about to release me. No IV antibiotics or fluids for my kidney infection. Told me to just try a few days on the antibiotics another doctor previously found me to be resistant to. I made them very aware of this. They said to try it. Will likely be back in another (hopefully better ER)later.

Do not trust the paramedics! They came into my home to pick me up and asked my husband to take my cell phone that was sitting on my nightstand. That phone was lost and never returned to me. The paramedic that took it claims that she gave it back to me, however three nurses in the room, confirm she never did. I was sent home with nothing more than “sucks to be you and hope you find it.” They’ll be quick to send a bill but not to give me $1000 credit for the cell phone they stole.
The nurse in the emergency room did try hard to find it, but the paramedic she called clearly couldn’t have cared less as I never heard another word from them.

I went last week due to chest pains and tachycardia due to Urgent care admitting me for further evaluation to make sure it wasn’t heart related. They were some of the nicest nurses and doctors I’ve ever experienced. They performed an echo and another EKG and continued to monitor my heart for an hour. The main doctor vocal coached me and helped calm my heart rate and blood pressure down. I highly recommend this ER

After 3 hours, a CT scan for a kidney stone, and none on the scan, I was sent home. I was informed my stone probably passed. Well, I have a shingles. No kidney stones. After three hours the ER could of done more testing. I gave them 2 stars since the nurse was kind and compassionate.
Don't send people home when they could do more testing. After all I did have severe pain on my right side / back area.

Pressured into a CT scan of my 13 year old's head after expressing concern about the radiation and without being fully informed. This was after waiting about 2.5 hours to be seen by a doctor. She was brought to the ER a little after 9 pm, I think, after a trampoline accident. Her cousin had landed near her head while her head was resting on the trampoline, bouncing it off of the trampoline. Symptoms were severe headache and vomiting every 20 minutes about. We saw the doctor at midnight and he recommended a CT scan to check for a brain bleed or fracture. I was told the risk of a serious injury was moderate. I expressed concern about the radiation and asked for alernatives. Observation was the only alternative provided. I wasn't sure how that would work with her being sleepy, but the doctor did not elaborate. Neither ultrasound nor MRI were offered as alternatives. The doctor told me they use pediatric doses of radiation and he would do it if it was his kid. He did not tell me how much radiation would be used. I found out later. I don't feel like my concerns were taken seriously, and I don't feel like I was fully informed. The CT scan showed nothing and the diagnosis was a severe concussion.

Came in with my daughter for a vehicle accident. Was treated moderately quickly. Staff was almost not around the whole time. Did not feel checked on during the process and the discharge process was way to fast. Went home still in pain and vomiting. Did not know what to look out for. It felt cold. I was not a patient, I was a dollar sign. My daughter felt the same way as well.

I spent 6 days with an unknown ailment.
The doctors immediately began testing to find the problem and/or rule things out.
I was very impressed .
But my favorite thing was the nursing staff .
They were caring, compassionate, and did everything they could to make me as comfortable as possible . I was not only impressed with them, but very grateful.

After checking on with my mother I was relieved to have gotten her somewhere as this was the sickest I've seen her and I knew I had pneumonia again as I had it severely twice before. They attempted to put an IV in and After seeing was they assumed we're drug marks their attitudes changed. After being moved to a different room and after being that the IV wasn't in correctly and it popped out of my hand leaving the room look like a crime scene. After standing there for over 45 minutes I was informed that my labs came back negative and I could leave. That could have acceptable had they done labs. Never got the IV in to do labs. Then another doctor came in and asked to look at my arm and I held it out and I der his breath Ihe say, "yep", and walked away. And I walked out 2 minutes later with cough drops. This was a typical visit to the ER. The minute a "professional" knows your a prior drug user or that you currently use drugs or THEY FREAKIN ASSUME that you do you might as well get up and walk out before you end up in booking do to how rudely your treated. I really dislike people who assume things, but use to it. But they then proceeded to treat my mom in the same manner, a non drug user.
