By far the best Neurological consultation I’ve ever had. His focus wasn’t performing surgery, he only wanted the best outcome for me. After a thorough exam and review of my medical history, spine surgery is now off the table. Thanks you Dr. Hayward.

Very fast, courteous ,and understanding people!! I was admitted into the ER department for CT scan blood work and an EKG readout. I expect it to be there at least 4 hours, but was in and out in less than an hour!! Of course I had to wait on my blood work, so I was out in about an hour and a half total!! Very attentive and understanding doctors when I express my concern about my health... Great atmosphere great people I recommend UC Health/Memorial to anyone!!😁

I came in for breathing issues. I felt like I was breathing through a straw and that my throat was closing. The only thing that was done was vitals, an ekg test and a strep test that came back negative. I was sent out of the hospital the exact same way I came in with no answers. The main lady who saw me said “oh you didn’t tell me you were having trouble breathing” which is the only reason I came in. She also said “I listened to your airway and everything sounded clear to me”. Not once did she use the stethoscope to listen until I told her she hadn’t. And then she pretended like she was listening to my breathing while talking the whole time to me. Then to sum this up, she had someone else give me a prescription to get filled. It has SHELL FISH in it. I’m allergic to shellfish and she never asked any questions before hand about allergies. I felt very uncared for. Like I was just another patient they were just rushing through to get more people in. Complacency in careers like this kills.

Horrible experience came in with chest pain & shortness of breathe , got done a ECG said everything was normal the doctor had not even the minimal idea of what it was left without a diagnosis & they dismissed me. Chair that I sat in to be evaluated had blood on the right side of the seat, “one of the nurses goes oh wait let me clean this blood right here” when I sat down all along the inside both sides of the seats filled with blood they couldn’t even clean that properly so disgusting. on my paper work doesn’t show me the name of the doctor that attended me so I asked for it on my way out & they gave me the name of one of the trainees 😂 avoid this dirty place at all cost.

Everyone was so helpful and courteous. The emergency room was very full and busy but the workers kept their cool. The nurses, doctors, every worker was patient wiith me and answered all my questions. I learned a lot and felt in good hands!

The floor in the room I was in was disgusting nasty!
Housekeeping needs to do a better job!
I had to have 2 CT's done on cervical spine because the 1st one wasn't done right for whatever reason?!
The techs that moved me from hospital bed to scanning table were so rough!
Moved me around like a ragdoll!
They must've thought I was a non paying customer?!

DO NOT go here (or to any ER) unless you *absolutely* need to (and you have money burning a hole in your pocket).

I’ve luckily never had to use an ER in my 37 years on this earth, until recently. I accidentally poked a metal shelving bracket into my eye, and due to it being later in the evening, felt I had no where else to go to *potentially* get stitches. I thought—I have reasonably good insurance—although a little spendy, it shouldn’t be *that* bad. While the process went relatively smoothly (relative to all the horror stories I’ve heard from people about sitting in the waiting room for hours on end), I was charged ~$9540 for THREE stitches and a tetanus shot.

Absolutely unbelievable. Our medical system is so broken. There’s no way on gods green earth that three stitches and a tetanus shot should cost this much. It’s just flat out greed.
