Ventured into the ER after an evening cut to my finger I thought might need stitches after all Urgent Cares had closed that evening. From the front desk to the nurse and doctor all staff were courteous, professional, kind, and took the time to listen and discuss what frankly wasn’t an emergent issue but still treated me the same medically and as a patient as anyone else coming in. Discussed their decision making with me, addressed questions and concerns, and were personable and still appropriately addressed what was happening, took their time, reviewed my background information, and included me in my own care by explaining my options and what would work for my issue. Care about their profession and their patients. Paperwork was quick, they take many types of insurance including Medicaid, and I was seen and on my way very quickly, particularly for an ER. Thank you all!

I had a very disappointing experience at UCHealth on Nov 2nd. From the moment I arrived, I felt dismissed and disrespected. Nurse Jennifer was rude and made me feel uncomfortable, especially when I mentioned that I had gone to urgent care just three days prior but was still feeling worse. Instead of listening to my concerns, she seemed to brush me off and made me feel like I was overreacting. The doctor wasn’t much better—he placed his stethoscope under my shirt without any warning, which is not only unprofessional but also uncomfortable. Providers typically inform you beforehand or do it over your shirt, but this felt careless. The only positive part of my visit was the front desk staff, who was friendly . Unfortunately, the poor treatment I received from the medical staff overshadowed any positive aspects.

On January 22, 2024, I went to this emergency room with a fever, inability to keep foods down, and pain in my torso. All ER's take forever to see patients, and this place is no different. After waiting for two hours to see a doctor, I was told to go home and take Tylenol and Ibuprofen. If my symptoms continued, I was told to return.

I do not remember the next day, which would've been January 23, 2024.

With worse symptoms, I returned to this ER on January 24, 2024. I waited again for an hour before going back to be seen by someone. They asked me the same questions again, I told them the same information again, and then they insisted on a CT scan of my kidneys and liver. After discovering my kidney was inflamed, they then started pumping me with morphine and other drugs and ordered me an ambulance to Highlands Ranch Medical. IT WAS AT THIS TIME THAT THEY TOLD ME I WAS GONNA DIE. AN EMT TOLD ME AS HE LOADED ME INTO THE AMBULANCE THAT I WAS GOING TO DIE.

After a 30 minute drive, another nurse at Highlands Ranch told me I was going to die. I'm a mother of two. I'm a wife. I'm a contributing member to society. I did NOT want to be told the medical staff was giving up on me, even if that's what they were doing. I didn't want to be regarded as disposable, but that's what I was.

Today is January 22, 2025, and after leaving Highlands Ranch Medical four days after being told I'd die there, which was AFTER BEING TOLD I'D DIE AT UCHEALTH, I turned 40, ran my first half marathon, bought a house all by myself, fought my landlord in court and won, and successfully changed careers. I celebrated holidays with my husband and kids. I did NOT die, despite the staff of this place having given up on me.

If you are in medical need and want care from people who...care? go elsewhere. "Some" humans are disposable to the people working here.

Zero urgency. Came in and waited for almost an hour and at half with my pregnant wife who was experiencing severe pain. Don't waste your time go to a different er.
Was skipped over by other people who came in after us. Supposedly all the rooms were full and lady at front desk could give no eta. Was told by one of the doctors they were just cleaning a room and would bring us back, 45 minutes goes by and we couldn't wait anymore. Will not be coming back

I went to the ER due to I cut my finger at work. I got into the ER at 4:30pm I sat and sat for hours. There were several people in the ER. I did not leave until 8:30pm I left with 4 stitches in the cut on my finger. The Dr and nurse were nice however it took a very long time and it was freezing in the exam room. I will go back to have my stitches removed and I hope it doesn't take 4 hours to have that happen. Thanks!

Hear me out! This place is amazing 👏 everyone is nice, everyone is there to help BUT OMG the Entitlement of some patients are beyond the roof !!!! People were getting mad because the doctors would prioritize people with heart attacks, seizure, etc...
All i could hear was actual EMERGENCIES and the doctor running left and right .... and some expect the doctor to have a smile on their face when the patient next door just cracked their head open.... amazing DOCTOR amazing staff ! Patients not so much ! And by reading previous reviews I can confirm the Entitlement from some patients is astronomical! I'm also a minority and felt valued ! Doctor goes an extra mile so you can find care without insurance...

Also this place is ALWAYS full, literally looks like there's a black Friday going on, of course there's going to be a waiting time 🤦🏻‍♀️ and people still get mad because they would allow a patient with a CLEAR sign of a heart attack first... ma'am your sore throat can wait 🤦🏻‍♀️

The were all very professional and showed concern for my husband from the receptionist to the doctor. A very comfortable place to go instead of a Hospital ER. I am glad I went there and would go back only if necessary. ha-ha
