I have been lucky and ended up at this wonderful hospital once, and because they are excellent, I chose to come here a second time.
Everyone of my care team was absolutely excellent and beyond expectations. I have had no other hospital treat me so kindly (I'm not the easiest patient!).
Hats off to anyone who is on this extraordinary team.
I know that UT Southwestern always has my health as their top concern. Thank you all so much!

Exceptional Doctor at ER on 12.10.24, think his first name was Elijah. Such a compassionate dr, took time to truly listen to my 81 year old mother. We left with good advice/direction and she was not hurting. Blessed are wonderful, caring physicians. I cannot praise and thank enough! Cannot leave out our sweet nurses and techs, everyone was so good to us !

I am extremely disappointed with the UT Southwestern emergency room. Last night, my wife felt like she was having a heart attack. In severe pain, unable to breathe properly, and with her jaw locked up from the pain, she ran inside seeking immediate help. Instead of getting the urgent care she needed, we were told she would have to wait 6–7 hours to see a doctor, even though she might have been experiencing a life-threatening emergency.

This is completely unacceptable for an emergency room that is supposed to prioritize critical patients. The lack of urgency and compassion shown is shocking. How can a hospital function like this, especially when someone could be dying in the waiting room? This kind of negligence is unacceptable, and something needs to change.

The worst medical experience of my life. Giving a 1 star is quite generous. My wife and I came here because she was having an allergic reaction. Her face and lips were massively swollen and she could hardly breathe. We waited there for 5 hours and did not see any doctor. They said we were waiting for a room and to see a doctor. The swelling started going down so we wanted to leave since she hadn’t ate all day and there was no point in us being there. The nurse said we had to wait for a doctor to discharge us so we continued to wait for another hour. Still no one saw us. We ended up just walking out. So we just wasted 6 hours of our day there with no service being provided. We could have went somewhere else. Please don’t go here even if you are dying.

I have never had an issue here. it is always clean and VERY efficient. The staff has ALWAYS gone out of the way for myself and my family when ever we need to visit. Please keep in mind it is an ER and at times can be SUPER busy. I realize some people are miserable and sick but you wont be seen before someone whom may come in with something life threatening.

Went in with husband having stroke symptoms. Waited a total of 16 hrs before seen by a doctor. We were told the hospital beds were full which caused a back up in ER because of patients needing to be admitted. During the 16 hrs, my husband had blood work, CT, and an MRI. Doctor met with us in waiting area to give us results. The doctor was very caring and compassionate. I feel like the wait could have been avoided if the staff had a plan of action ahead of time for when the hospital is full. We shouldn't have had to wait so long before they finally had the idea for doctors to see patients in waiting rooms.

The social workers here are not the best at their jobs and not able to understand to help find the best solution for patients. HONESTLY instead of calling a social worker call your Texas house representative and complain about the hospital but also the legislature has their own social workers.

Worst care experience but honestly I want to point Tristan out that works over night in the ER he is the most respectful and most caring staff members who ever worked here maybe if you had more people like him this hospitals rating would sky rocket GREAT JOB TRISTAN KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK YOU ARE DOING AMAZING
