This is a top notch hospital for all veterans. And has a housing program for the homeless veterans that’s proactive with a staff that works tirelessly to get the homeless veterans into permanent housing as quick as possible. They also have alcohol and drug addiction programs and work with the per deem programs to provide sober living spaces while veterans are waiting for permanent housing. They offer mental health as well as medical, dental and eye care. They also offer Compensated Work Therapy for the veterans who may not of worked for some time, this program helps to reintroduce the veteran to the work force at a slow pace working no more than 25 hr. a week. Apon completion the veterans will be eligible to apply for a full time Federal position anywhere there’s a opening.

So greatful that they have good vending machines in the waiting room and the second floor, because if you come here be ready to spend 6+ hours if it’s an emergency visit.

Came to this VA emergency room today for the second time in the last year, and both times I was so pleased with the care I received. They saw me right away and everyone was so kind and professional, from the ladies at the front, to my awesome nurse, and a great doctor. I was in so much pain both times and left there pain free with a great plan to get me better. I had to give them a great review, they deserve it. To the staff; Keep up the hard work everyone, it does not go unnoticed. God Bless you all. 🙏🏽❤️

So today, I was supposed to do a walk-in to get a prescription and then new glasses, but the first problem happened when I asked the va over the phone is it the main hospital or the Redlands address and she said yes Redlands is where I need to go but she was wrong it's the main hospital that takes care of that. 2 I was told I can do a walk in for a prescription so I get there an hour early for my appointment just to be told I drove an hour and a half for nothing because they don't do walk ins the lady at the front desk said and when I called again the gentleman on the phone just admitted that who ever told me that and wasted my entire morning just simply didn't know what they were doing or just guessed like are you telling me the VA just hiers anyone to work the phones. So I don't even need to know my work address to get a job there or know anything about the building to get a job here. I have had multiple bad experiences, but none bad enough to leave a review because I know reviews don't matter, and nothing will change, but just so anyone out there wants to read this make damn sure they gave you the info right I hasted a lot of gas coming from Palm Springs to Redlands and back just because these idiots can't get me valid information.

Checked in to ER last Saturday at 3am with shortness of breath due to chronic asthma, felt as if I was dying. I was treated very well by the ER nurse Dennis, Dr. Averill, respiratory therapist Linda and all the support staff. They treated my symptoms immediately and had me breathing again in a very short time. They were expeditious, professional and caring. In 3 hours I was out the door with the medications needed for a speedy recovery. This is a good VA Hospital. Thank you! HOOAH!

Best ER Experience ever For Veterans.4 hours in and out with cat scan of my issues. Best part is no bill in the mail like other ERs. New ER looks good. I went at 9 am weekday morning.

At the walk-in audiology repair clinic I was told the wait for service would be long. Within ten minutes I was visiting an Audiology Doctor who quickly solved the problem. Good job VA

Horrible experience, waited 5 hours in ER while my dad was in extreme pain in his lower abdomin for them to treat him for covid despite the fact that he did not have covid and could breath normally. They did chest X-ray and everything except address his chief complaint and put him in the covid section surrounded with infected covid patients. After 5 hrs of sitting and waiting in pain and starving they confirmed he did not have covid and we waited Another 2 hours, still surrounded by covid patients, just for them to push us out saying he’s old and his symptoms are normal for old men and they’re not going to do anything. 3 days later I took him to the west LA VA ER because he had gotten extremely worse and they were shocked at hearing about his previous tx. The difference in care was like night and day! Go somewhere else if you want to live!
