Love their white carrot cake. Best in Paris Ris.

I have never try their black carrot cake because I find them too sweet.

Not sure why this review is so bad; but I love their way of taking order which some find offended.

I added an extra egg and this dish is $5. Love it.

Hokkien Mee noodles were not cooked property. Can still feel the hardness. Prawn stock used was also not fragrant enough as the noodles are tasteless. Patronising this stall once is more than enough

🍽️ Char Kway Teow @ Xiao You Er $4

An above average plate of char kway teow with decent servings for the price point. The fish cakes are sliced up into bite size and the cockles are really mini so you can have a bite of everything in one bite. I would prefer bigger cockles. It's missing the presence of pork lard too. Wok Hei is slightly present but the chilli packs a punch. The Chinese sausage adds another texture to the dish too.

🍽️ Oyster Omelette @ Xiao You Er $6

🍛 The oysters are creamy and if decent size. The dish has 6 oysters in total. The mixture of egg and the tapioca flour is well balanced with the crispiness of the Omelette and gooey-ness of the tapioca flour within the egg.

Not the best oyster Omelette around but a decent one to satisfy the craving.

🍽️ Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee @ Xiao You Er $5

🦐 Are you Team wet or Team dry? I think no matter which team you are, you can agree that this is almost Hokkien Prawn Mee soup? 😅
To be fair, the broth is decent and reminds me of the soupy white beehoon.

There's a lot of missing elements in this dish. Firstly, there is no wok Hei at all and it like they pre cooked the noodles and stir it with the broth. I knew there won't be Wok Hei when it took less than 5mins from the moment I placed my order to the time they served the noodles. The time I took to peel the prawns is longer than the time for the cooking 😂. Although the serving is quite big, Quality over Quantity always! Secondly, there is no pork lard or pork belly.😞 The chilli is also not worth mentioning.

Love the fried carrot cake black version! The kueh is so soft and the serving is a lot. Definitely will come and try the white carrot cake version!

Black carrot cake texture is too soggy and tasted very sweet and pepperish. Absolutely no ‘wok hey’. Not recommended.

The orh luak (oyster omelette) is the best.
Forget the hokkien mee, and carrot cake. 💯

Not bad. Hokkien Mee Stock a little light on flavor and noodles lacking woh hei. The carrot cake looks yummy though

Seems like the stall has changed hands. I had Hokkien mee. The bee hoon in it was undercooked. There were only three prawns, a few sotong rings and some pathetic strands of koo chye for $9! The prawns were cooked from raw and there was no pork too. I truly wonder what they use to cook the broth? I used to patronise the stall for Hokkien mee, CKT and carrot cake, but after this Hokkien mee, I don’t think I would go back for the rest 😫
