Had not had an opportunity to share my family’s experience this past Christmas Day 2024! Let me tell you, when God answers prayers he sends Angels. Husband & I had drove around trying to find the best place to take our daughter, fever was getting out of hand, throwing up etc. Staff at Ascent were very friendly, polite & professional. The facility was nice & clean, a big plus. But more than anything the Doctor & Nurses being available on Christmas Day was such a blessing. THANK YOU so much again! We will be forever grateful!

I wish there was a less than 1 star option. They will treat you like a drug addict. I went in about a month ago and was told they couldn't help me because I was in so much pain (I had a bowel obstruction) so I had surgery the next day after moving to a competent hospital. They don't do surgery I get it but I'm sitting there puking up everything and the Dr is just like, "I'm not giving you meds." Excuse me what? So I had the surgery and they put in a port because this is a chronic issue and I lost most of my IV access points. They also sent me home on IV nutrition so I carry that with me every day. I went in last night because I was having the same issue with the puking and the Dr still refused treatment and tests stating that he wasn't handing out pain meds. Fine. Be that way but at least do an X-ray to make sure I haven't perforated anything. I had to leave and I will never be back. It was a good idea to open 24 hour walk in ERs that will evaluate you and tell you if you need to spend 12 hours in the big ER but when they don't actually treat you then why are you here? Trust me pick another ER.

We had a rough night with our daughter and the team went above and beyond to make us feel comfort, get us quality care, and answers in the fraction of the time we would have spent at any major er. The facility is very clean and has a security guard which was amazing. They walked us to our car since it was 2am. I’m so impressed every time we go and will continue to go back for all the tough nights with toddlers.

All the staff was amazing with me and my family tonight. I went in with severe asthma and back pain. Walked out way better and able to breath alongside prescriptions with the necessary medicine I need. If you want wonderful service and treated like a human being by a staff I highly recommend coming here. By far best ER I have gone to.

I had an exceptional experience at Ascent EMC. From start to finish, the staff was professional, compassionate and attentive. Dr. Bell provided outstanding care, taking the time to thoroughly explain everything to me. Amanda, who took my vitals, was incredibly kind and sweet. I highly recommend Ascent EMC to anyone in need of emergency medical care. Their team truly goes above and beyond!

I was there a couple days ago. Everyone is so kind and attentive. It’s the best service I’ve received at an urgent care facility. If i were forced to come up with an opportunity for improvement, I would say the gentleman who checked me in could have been a touch warmer, but he wasn’t bad at all. I’d undoubtedly return here if I ever needed urgent care again.

The visit I had at this center is by far the best ER treatment I have ever received. The nurse and the doctor were phenomenal!! they were so caring, had patience, they explained everything to me, and I felt seen and heard. They were excellent. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to tell the world how great they were at this ER.

Have to give a low rating because even though I like these folks personally (I've been multiple times) they missed my exploding gallbladder (after imaging me!) and a doctor, refusing to give me pain medication or reach out to any other medical facility to help me, sent me on my way into the night at 3 AM after the 3rd night in a row of my gallbladder exploding (I didn't know at the time that it was my gallbladder). This was the second night that I had spoken to the same doctor, and the third time I'd been there in three days overall. I definitely could've died from their mistake, but, luckily, after this place refused to further treat me or help me, the 24/7 ER at Rice I went to managed to notice something funky on ADDITIONAL imaging, and after getting very lucky I was able to get emergency surgery.

I think the doctor must've thought I was only after pain meds - which I did ask for, as my gallbladder was exploding and I didn't know what was wrong - as though this is the easiest way to find street drugs or something?

Anyway, I guess this place is fine if you basically know what's wrong with you. If you break your leg, I'm sure they can set it. Just don't expect answers, and doctors may think you're faking it and kick you out.

Don't trust the doctors here with your life, basically.
